DIASPORA CONNECT

Ugandans who live or migrated to other countries either in search of work, trade or other reason, or those who escaped conflict or persecution, still value Uganda as their mother land and the cultural values it has. Due to the school's connection with the diaspora Lady Margaret Elite School developed a program for the children of the diaspora. This program covers learners legible to attend classes from P.3 to P.7.
HOW IT WORKS
1. A parent applies and registers the child with the school administration
2. The child is given full parental attention during school sessions and holidays
So, those living in the USA, Europe, Asia, South Africa, etc. and you want to have your child attend school in Uganda, send in your inquiry via our contact channels on this website.

EMPLOYMENT, INTERNSHIP AND VOLUNTARY WORK

Lady Margaret Elite School has local staff as well as expatriates. The local staff consists of administration, teachers, and support staff. All those through stringent testing. These requirements must meet the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.
Also, there are foreign students who would like to take their internship in Uganda between 1 - 12 months. Lady Margaret has that program. This program is run jointly with that of the Diaspora.
The school will work and guide you with arrangements for housing, domestic travel, medical, etc.. and also work with International Internship program.
HOW IT WORKS
1. An interested individual contacts the school administration
2. Submits a catalog of activities they want to do at Lady Margaret Elite School
3. Upon approval, the school makes arrangements for a placement
Employment, internship and voluntary work is not limited to academics only. We welcome expatriates in talent development, sports, Music, Dance and Drama and any other relevant field in child development.
